Great Plague and Great Fire of London

Today we are talking about the Great Fire of London which happened in September of 1666. But we’re going to start by talking about the events of the year before because when the fire broke out the city of London and its inhabitants were still experiencing the last vestiges of the black or bubonic plague that began in England in April 1665.
